Kaillera problem in Kawaks (and mame32k)

Hi,

 

Does anyone know how to fix the problem of Kaillera closing itself on Windows XP? It shows the familiar "send error report" and just closes whenever I try to use the option to 'start netplay' in either Kawaks or Mame32k.

 

I have two PCs and on one it's okay. I recently tried to get back into Kaillera and I seem to vaguely recall this error affected one of my computers before and someone on a forum fixed it. I hope someone on here knows how.
