Thanks we just called our local pc store and found it they don't stock cpu's for his motherboard anymore.They said he will have to upgrade his motherboard and cpu and ram.

Dont listen to them, if you really want to keep the motherboard and everything you should have no problem finding a CPU online.

Local PC places are even worse about trying to sell you crap you really don't want and/or need because it's money right into THEIR pockets -- not their company's.
