KOF2002 Help!

Hello. I am attempting to play KOF2002 using MAME32k (for multiplayer support). However, the version of KOF2002 I have downloaded does not include the following files, which I need:

 

kof2002: 265-v1d.bin 4194304 bytes

kof2002: 265-v2d.bin 4194304 bytes

kof2002: 265-v3d.bin 4194304 bytes

kof2002: 265-v4d.bin 4194304 bytes

 

I assume these are the decrypted files. I have searched for hours on google and forums such as these with no luck; for such a popular game, it would seem these files would be more accessible, but I rest my case.

MAME's "original" encrypted set doesn't have these file, only 265-v1.bin and 265-v2.bin, both 8,388,608 bytes each.

 

For some stupid reason MAME32K apparently wants the non-MAME version of KOF2002. You won't find this set on any sites that offer just basic MAME Neo-Geo sets. Besides, MAME32K is so old that it's no wonder that it lacks proper romset support.

you have to look into the semi-new romsets to find any files you might need. (I am assuming you are using "The King Of Fighters 2002: Challenge to Ultimate Battle" rom).
