xbox 360 audio problem

I noticed just today that every game i put in my 360 seems to have skipping audio.

And a couple of times the audio didn't only skip in the games....but it also skipped on the intro of the machine itself when you switch it on and see the logo.

What do you guys think it might be?.

For about the first week or two i had my 360, I didnt have the AV cable fully inserted, check yours, its actually supposed to click. (haha i was being so paranoid i was like OMG THIS THING IS SO EXPENSIVE I FINALLY GOT ONE DONT PUSH TOO HARD!!!)
