How to create your own EBOOT file?

I have downloaded a PS1 game: Final Fantasy VIII.

 

I want to convert it to EBOOT so that I can run it on PSP but how?

To play it you need to be running on of Dark Alex's 3.03 / 3.10 OE firmwares. If you are, then the instructions as well as everything you need are in the OE installer zip you downloaded.

 

Basically get an ISO, run pops.exe via the command line and follow the syntax in the readme.

Or, if you're too lazy to use the command line version, download a Popstation GUI such as PSX2PSP v1.2. GUIs make the process much easier and include more features than the command line version.
