GodPigeon Posted March 24, 2007 Share Posted March 24, 2007 (edited) I recently Installed WinXP Pro onto My friends Laptop and everything went well, but the screen is Centered out. And the computer tells me to put up the Resolution, but when i click on the Display icon, nothing happens at all. Everything else on the Control Panel Works except for that Option. Im Confused as to why it does this. Extra info:the Windows XP Pro was a burned Copy, While installing, i got quite an amount of errors, i cant do windows update because it says that it cannot verify that the windows is a Genuine Copy(i think) Its a Compaq Labtop EDIT:that screenshot is not from the laptop itself.
