dreamcast is an amazing console but for me its still the megadrive.

Dreamcast had potential. But it was cut far too short.

 

PlayStation 2 is by far the best console ever made, simply because of how many and varied games it has.

it was cut way to short,out of all the cosoles i own the dreamcast is still the one i play the most.

 

soul calibur on dc was never bettered by its sequels.

for me the best console is nintendo family computer or NES on the US hehehe....

they've all got strengths and weaknesses. as far as pure versatility goes my vote is for the OG xbox. A fully tweaked out xbox can take the place of everything up to the n64. it can be the heart of a arcade cabinet and be a decent linux box to boot. to think you can grab one used for under 100 bucks is a steal IMO.
