eonica
Heya, I'm new to this forum and new to anything to do with DS's in general so hopefully these questions make sense. I'm leaning towards getting a M3 lite but Supercards do seem to be alot cheaper so what are the differences? Also, with M3's, are there any differences between them besides the memory cards they support? The M3 Perfect (slot-2) can save your games without a patch (unless you want real time saving) and the software includes a tool to import/export saves from your ROMs Does that mean Supercards require a patch and does M3 Lite need patch? Oh and also, what are good places to purchase these items. Thanks Edited April 8, 2007 by eonica
Mooney
I'm not too familiar with Supercards, but I think the SC does not support media files (music, movies, pictures) without third party software. The M3, however, has built-in support for .gbs, .gbm, .dpg, and .bmp. The included software for the M3 include converters for all of these formats. Yes, the only difference between each slot-2 M3 is the type of memory card it takes. I do not think the SC requires a patch to save, either, but I know for sure the M3 Lite does not. Also, the M3 allows you to have more than one .sav file per ROM. Good Places to buy:www.modmyds.comwww.jandaman.com
