GodPigeon
Ok My friend Just gave me his old Graphics Card. Its a NVidia GeForce 7300 GS But he didnt give me a CD. So i went to www.nvidia.com and i downloaded the Drivers for it. When i get Here I Choose [Graphics Driver>Geforce 7 Series>Windows XP/2000] Everything installs Perfectly and i restart. But then when i got to [Control Panel>Display>Settings] I get this Msg. And there wasnt any change in any of the games i played. This is my first time ever messing with Graphics cards so i really dont know what to do next. Any help?? Edited April 23, 2007 by GoRDoOnE
ken_cinder
What version of Windows are you running, and is the card a retail NvIdia or a 3rd party?

ken_cinder
That's wierd. Did you try going with a previous driver revision? Nothing to say that they didn't screw something up in the latest. I can't run the latest Catalysts for instance, they cause my computer to crash spontaneously.

Gryph
Did you uninstall and remove all your old graphics drivers?
GodPigeon
No, My other Graphics card is an Integrated ATi RADEON XPRESS 200. So should i still uninstall them???
ken_cinder
Not necessary. See if you can download older drivers from this page: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_archive.html It would appear, by default, that page isn't available. Trying 6 series drivers won't get you anywhere with a 7 series card, and besides, they use the same package.
