testdriver Posted April 24, 2007 Share Posted April 24, 2007 (edited) HI !I hope you can help mei'm a very big dreamcast fan recently i have 2 dreamcast an nearly all original games that came out in europeand a lot of backups from japan an the us and also made backups of my original games the backup cds boot with no problem at all in my original consolsall selfboot no utopia bootdisk needednow i wanted to boot them with nullDC to see how it would be like to play on the PC but the only thing i get is that Audio CD playing thingyou know -> the spinning disc thingeverytime the program checks the CD it tells me "AudioCD" hmmm... tried everythingchecked tutorials i have no idea what i'm doing wrong can you help me ? thx Edited April 24, 2007 by testdriver Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

testdriver Posted April 26, 2007 Author Share Posted April 26, 2007 (edited) finally i managed to make a bootable image with exoboot 1.31 did crazy taxi 2 and dayton USA .....so far so good but exoboot doesn't seem to work with powerstone2 nor with sonic adv.2 any ideas how i can make those bootable ? i just read out session 2 of my backups and put all the files in a directorythen i rebuild an image (cdi) thx Edited April 26, 2007 by testdriver Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

testdriver Posted April 26, 2007 Author Share Posted April 26, 2007 (edited) funny thingnullDC shows me a session count in the dos window and it says one - probably not selfbooting ?!?what the...?that happens to most of the gamesif i open a game cd with isobuster it tells mit CD with 2 sessions first is the short audio partsecond is the gamesomehow only the first session is recognized by windows ...the gdrom drive boots it fine so my utopia bootdisc image does not load either with nullDC...thats anoying so guys do you all patch your games by yourselfe ore use some prepatched images ?thx edit: ok now i tried an old utopia disc 1.1 and it boots in nulldc then i eject the cd an put a non bootable disc in the drive... nothing happens hmmmmany idea ?
