GodPigeon Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Arguing about what we coulda/shoulda done is kind of pointless i have to say (Even tho i believe we shouldn't have been there) but as they say "We are knee deep in the Sh!t" and now the U.S cant Leave until their Job is done. Everyone will eventually Pay for the next mans greed so the U.S has it coming soon. But Until Something is stable over there, the U.S cannot Leave. 9/11 was good enough of a reason to go find and kill the people who assisted in making that day possible. So Stay

It would totally flock over that region and create even more terrorists who do not like the west. Of course you could argue that our continued presence is doing that also but if Iraq falls any further into civil war it could become an uncontrollable mess kind of like the Taliban rule in Afghanistan. We have to create some sort of stable country and train a decent military force before we can pull out.Agreed, simply put there is no simple exit strategy for the U.S.
