I'm having problems getting joy2key to work with my games under windows 98 SE. It works perfectly under XP but I am forced to use 98 for some reason. When I play Lord of the Rings ROTK, joy2key isn't working as it should supposed to be. I tried other games and is it's still the same. However, when I'm on desktop it seems working, I can emulate mouse movements using gamepad. But when I begin to play a game, now it doesn't work. I wanna know if you guys with windows 98 get joy2key to work while playing a game? Or do you also experience the same problem problem I have? I thought joy2key is compatible with 98, is there any solution? Please help me...

I wish i could Help, but i havent used windows 98 since like......1998.

I HIGHLY doubt anyone hear has windows 98, especially if u read the System Specs Thread. Why exactly are u being forced to use Windows 98??

the reason is, i only have a low system spec pc. I play games with 98 Lite micro which absolutely fast because it doesn't eat too much system resources like XP does. And ofcourse some old games only works with 98.

IIRC, Joy2Key simply does not work under Windows 98. Only on NT-based systems.

I'm thinking the same thing. You'd probably have an easier time shifting up to XP than fiddling around trying to get it to work. If you're playing ROTK you likely have a comp that can handle XP with no real worries anyway.

Now that clears things up... Do you know any alternatives of joy2key? software that can emulate keyboard press or mouse movement/click through gamepad?
