for this game I'll give you some "secrets"

Berry master:

SUPER HUSTLE: You will get a Belue Berry.

COOL LATIOS: You will get a Durin Berry.

CHALLENGE CONTEST: You will get a Pamtre Berry.

GREAT BATTLE: You will get a Spelon Berry.

OVERWHELMING LATIAS: You will get a Watmel Berry

note that you can do this everyday or plant the berry so you can get lot more!!

I have >40 of each berry

When i used to play, i couldnt catch anymore pokemon, so i used action replay and now i have every berry/TM/Master ball MANY times over. A box full of Just Mewtwo, mews, Deoxs, Celebi, Jirachi, and all the Ledgendary pokemon. hehe

isnt there a way to transfer it over if your going the way of the pirate? (AKA GBA Roms onto your DS) It would make sense anyway.

Yeah, if you are using a DS flashcard, it is really easy to transfer your save files. If you are using an original NDS game card, all you need is a slot-2 flashcart and this app.

Too Bad i dont have any kind of DS homebrew at all. All i have is this Micro SD adapter i found.
