help with mugen, characters limits

for some reason i can only hold up too 8 characters, how to do change the limit?

Edit the system.def in the data folder and change

rows = 2

columns = 5

to whatever you want to get more slots for your characters, assuming you are using the no limit version of course

don't use what he said get a screenpack ok and then add it and see how much it hold or else i can send you my default one that holds 80 chars i think

^ That is the better way, mine was said before I got a screenpack installed for it, it works but isnt as nice as a screenpack

well, mine holds 250, but it's not filled up yet.

about the selection colum actually the big secret is the are no limit

some patch will allow you up to 406 << what the @@@@

 

anyway if you want to make mugen makesure you use

20 first so its easy for you to get used to mugen making trust

me when you got alot of characters that time you have an exploding

headache

Really? I never had a problem with it. I've got like 45 characters so far with the 1000 something screenpack, and even though I'm new to Mugen it's fairly easy to keep them all straight...
