eliteness
Hello everyone, I seem to be having a problem with 2 games both final fantasy. I just downloaded disc 1 of FF 8 and FF 9 and whenever i go into battle The battle menu wont pop up (where it lets u select Attack, magic, items, etc) Does anyone know a way to fix this? Because all i can see is the name of monster and thats about all the text i get. Thankyou very much
Devia Eleven
It would help to tell what emulator you are using.
BlackKnight
Yeh or if, by some stroke of bad luck, you are using an actually modded PSX. Believe it or not this happened to a mate of mine's and as far as we both know there isn't much of anything you can do about it.
eliteness
dang hope i can fix it, But i am using ePSXe sorry for not stating it before
BlackKnight
Hmm... try PSXeven. To its credit, its a lot easier to setup. But if you're using ePSXe, tell us which plugins you're using for video and what settings you have. I imagine tweaking them a bit should solve the problem. Agozer
Make sure that you are using the latest Pete's graphics plugins (preferably the OGL2 2.8 plugin), you have "Use pixel shader for PSX Texture Window emulation" option enabled, and that your graphics card has adequate pixel and vertex shader support. Devia Eleven
Try pSX 1.11 It runs almost every PSX game perfeclty with no setting configurations.
