High key rate problem

Hi,

I am using nullDC to play Resident Evil Veronica and the key rate is very high,a single key pushing moves the highlighting cursor a couple of times,i didnt have problem with this cuz i could position it on "New Game" on main menu screen and play the game but now that i have finished the game the "Battle Game" has been added to menu items and however i try i cannot position the cursor on new game.(i even tried to slow the key rate through control panel but didn't work).

Does anyone know how i can fix this?

I mean isolated to just this one game. But yeah, I haven't heard of people complaining about a fast button repeat rate in CV.
