Ahmad89 Posted June 27, 2007 Author Posted June 27, 2007 For your M$ office problem, you might want to try open office. So far the only problem I've had with my documents is with using the equation editor.Ive used that program before but you would think microsoft would give you a program that actually works!! ...well, it's a program that they are trying to make money with they're not just going to give it away for freeIf you pay a thousand dollars for a computer you would expect at least a decent program that you need, not a thousand other free programs that you dont need.

ken_cinder Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 It's Microsoft, there are BETTER and FREE alternatives to EVERYTHING they make with regards to software. Right from Windows > Linux, to Office > OpenOffice.

True, but that's not the point. The point is whether or not a fraction of that $1,000 went towards paying for a copy of MS Office. In this case, it didn't.

I dont know what it means but if you would like me to post a picture, then i will.Overclocking scares me. I saw some overclocking programs that are not manual but since i dont need to i wont take my chance. I will try it in a few years. Ohh and how high do you think i can bring it up to.Going to upgrade to a 8600GTS by december. My hard drive space fills up fast, really fast. And believe me by the end of this semester, i wont have any more space left (not because of porn). Edited October 7, 2007 by Ahmad89
Gryph Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 You should save up for more than a 8600GTS. Something with the power of an 8800GTS should be the minimum upgrade, especially by this Christmas. Seriously.

Unless you know of a site that will have them for 150.
Reaper man Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 you won't really get anything good for 150 lowest you can go for something decent is 200, that's just how it is. Better start saving...
