I don't know why, but every time I try to run a rom on Mame for the Xbox, it always has a file in the .rar file missing. It'll scan the .rar, and tell me that 4 files out of the rar file are missing.

Is it the NeoGeo BIOS file? But its hard to say anything without knowing which 4 files.

 

Not to change the subject but would you be better off using FBA-XXX PRO or just switching to MAMEoX and FTPing the entire MAME set? I don't really understand the advantage of FBA

It seems as if every rom I download has an error when I try to run it, I'll try downloading MAMEoX and post my results.

Don't forget to grab a clrmamepro or romcenter .dat for the version of mame its based on to check your roms, some xbox mames come with .dats others you'll have to find yourself but most are based on mame 0.84
