ROM Specifications

I am trying to build a little app that would let me look inside a DS Rom.

But I don't know where the specifications for the Rom files are.

Could someone point me to them? Or help out?

There is already an app that lets you view a ROM's header, icon, and the files in it (and you can extract them, too).
