Samurai Edge Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 When you place super glue in plastic and didn't wash away fast enough, it will make the surface a bit rough and the plastic becomes dirty with white spots. Is there any ways to remove the white spots and/or rough surface to make it as if nothing happened?
Robert Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Depends on the plastic. Some plastics don't really take to superglue, pushing the dried glue hard will often make it fall off. Other plastics, well, super glue works by causing a chemical reaction between itself and the things it touches, causing the things to melt together (so to speak). In that case the plastic has been permanently damaged and all you can do is rub back and paint over it. Or some other remedy (depending on the type of surface).
Deoxys Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 you're the smart one, you can answer a stupid question
Ghosty Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 if its on the top layer, get some acetone and scratch it off.
