Long Jumper Speared By Javelin

Lol. Recently at the Rome Golden League event at France, some guy from halfway across the stadium managed to spear a long jumper with his javelin. The look on the guy's face is just great;

There was another incident like this a few years (10?) where an offical was struck by a javalin and lived because it missed his heart by a few inches.

The one who threw the javelin was a Finnish competitor. This was on the news a couple days ago.

GAH! That pains me so much to think about how bad that would hurt.

I remember seeing a hospital documentary when a young kid was speared right through the neck. It missed all his vital organs and was successfully removed.
