Robert Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 According to Microsoft you do this: 1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. 2. Locate the following registry subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Wordpad 3. Right-click Wordpad, point to New, and then click DWORD Value. 4. Type EnableLegacyConverters, and then press ENTER to name the new entry. 5. Right-click EnableLegacyConverters, and then click Modify. 6. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK I just did it on my XP pc and it works!
