Sonic Adventure 2- Naming Chao; is it possible?

Hi. I just wanted to know if it is possible to name your Chao in Sonic Adventure 2 (emulating), and if it is, how?

No.

 

VMUs are emulated to the point where you can save, but not much else. Chankast supports the VMU LCDs as well as saving, but again, nothing more.

It might be possible to upload the Choa to a virtual VMU and use a VMS emulator to name it and then load it back in the game...although that's just my theory and I don't have the VMS emulator link on hand at the moment.

I think that I managed to emulate de VMU, but it just won't save! I'm using SoftVMS DOS.
