Is it an optical mouse? Those sometimes go on the fritz.

Until you move the mouse...the cursor then moves by itself...

This seldom happens with optical (and/or coordless) mice. If this behavior happens often, your mouse is broken and needs to be replaced.

Eh, my mom's Dell optical mouse moves on its own all the time. :o But yeah, it is just a crappy (and probably broken) mouse.

I have a high Definition mouse so i NEVER get those.

 

nah i just use voilence againts my optical mouse lol

and make it work ....

 

Why don't you hit it with your keyboard as hard as you can? You'll fix more problems than you know......

lol dometimes my mouse pissed me off ... i just knock the mouse .....

My mice always die after about two years. the one i have now is starting to flip out a bit.
