2eyez Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I remember a Street Fighter cartoon aired on the USA Network years back. I thought it was a good cartoon but they cancelled the series. Anyone else seen it besides me? Oh yeah, a Mortal Kombat cartoon aired on the USA Network too.
BlackKnight Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Yeh they were both utter garbage if memory serves. I have a few of those shocking 'Defenders of the Realm' eps on tape somewhere round here. Not that the painfully bad MK Conquest was any better.
2eyez Posted August 12, 2007 Author Posted August 12, 2007 Looking back, they weren't up to par with the anime of today but to a young teenager it was cool to see a fighting game turn cartoon and movie.
BlackKnight Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Yeh that is really what it was all about. You couldn't just walk into EB and pick up a Ryu figure in those days.
Lucandrake Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 They sucked, even when I was itty bitty, they sucked hard.
2eyez Posted August 12, 2007 Author Posted August 12, 2007 What can I say, I'm a Street Fighter fan. Not a fanatic but a fan.
Darken Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 So far ,all the anime and movie street fighter related to are Suck.sorry bro. but that the ture ^^.
Weirdy Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 I remember a Street Fighter cartoon aired on the USA Network years back. I thought it was a good cartoon but they cancelled the series. I used to watch them every saturday and I thought the storylines were good at the time.
rubiocroft Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Hey!.... I really loved the Japanese version of Street fighter the serie. The movie was also good.... but American Version really sucked!.... ryu and Ken were not the main characters.. just a pair of losers while Guile the "american soldier" was the cool guy .... I desliked that! What about the Jean Claude Vandamme movie... that really dissapointed me! lol (however.. I always liked JClaude flying kicks!!)
Wizard Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 lol people fail to notice that SF2 really had no *star* main character. And it's most probably Chun-Li who won it anyways.
