Robert
Found a foreign coin at work. It has a picture of a moose on the front, and the Queen's head (from about 60 years ago) on the back. On the back it says D.G.REGINA and on the front it says 25 cents 1982. It is the size of our 10 cent piece. What country?
Reaper man
"Dei Gratia Regina (often abbreviated to D. G. Regina and seen as D·G·REGINA) is Latin for By the Grace of God, Queen. This phrase appears on the obverse of all Canadian coins to the right of the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This is not to be confused with "D. G. REG. F. D." standing for Dei gratia regina fidei defensor which appears on the back of British coins." from wikipedia, so it's probably Canadian look something like this?
