hey, has anyone of you actually finished the game in hard getting the "escape" ending.i've tried everything

i walked all the way back to the forest world to get the --pickaxe of despair-- .healed Eileen Galvin with three candles...still i can't beat Walter before Eileen walks to her doom...the walkthrough says you can, but again some other walkthrough said that you can defeat Xaero in nightmare

It is possible but it is extremely hard and don't expect to do it on you first (or second, or hell even third) runthough of the game.

I tried to play the game on PC. It didn't have an "invert mouse" option (I always invert the mouse in games, it feels more natural for me). In fact, the game didn't have many options at all.

 

I gave up very quickly. I just couldn't play it with a backwards moving mouse.

I played it using a controller. I'm not sure how you would play it with a mouse at all.

You don't, simple as that Games made for a console rarely translate well to PC and mouse/keyboard playstyle doesn't work. Hence why I own the PS2 version and have not bothered to get the PC version.

 

As for the inverted mouse option, such an option is good to have, but I've never understood people who can play with the Y axis inverted. :/

I played the PC version, it was a lot cheaper for me. It auto detected the controller I had in there though, no problem, played it as though it was on the PS2 or some such. Scared the crap out of me, too.
