Possible to get an SNES game running on MAME?

Sure its possible. Haze has a Mega Drive emulator called HazeMD that's based on the MAME code.

 

Go make a SNES one

F-Zero plays in Mame, I just played it. Also Super Mario World for that matter.

Now, do not forget boys and girls, Mame is an Arcade emulator, not a console emulator.

MAME supports the Nintendo Super System (SNES hardware and games converted for arcade use) to some degree, but the emulation is far from perfect. Only a handful of SNES games were ever given the arcade treatment.

 

Like James said, MAME is an arcade emulator, nothing more nothing less. If you must have a multi-console emulator, then MESS is the answer.

that reminds me,how come it has suddenly become really tough to download SNES games from rom sites they all say that it is forbidden to be shared.I think Nintendo folks did something.

I wouldn't be too surprised if another romsite(s) hadfallen for the "ESA Protected" bullcrap. It's not tough, you're just using bad sites.

oh i had a list of fav sites that i went to but they are not providing the Nintendo roms anymore..Google searches are worthless cause they take you to these sites which ask you to vote for them in loop
