Wizard Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 And Far Cry is a terrible game, but it's a technical marvel. Got a free copy once upon a time...
Haldrie Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 If anyone wants them I'll download them all and host them on my website for anyone that wants them. That is if I'm allowed to that is.
Wizard Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Their basically freeware now. If that's any indication, you can if you wanted.
Haldrie Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Well then the big question then is will I be allowed to post the links here. Even if I am though it will be about a week before I can get them all and get them up on my site. DSL is slow .
Wizard Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 We're linking them now! (Following links from the page gryph posted).
Haldrie Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 (edited) Oh yeah good point . [EDIT]It figures, they're protected as well. I went to install Prince of Persia and first it made me register with UBI and then told me that I couldn't play it unless I lived in the US. Well here's the thing....I do live in the US. I'm not going to mess with these anymore. I'm getting the PS2 version instead and playing it. Edited September 6, 2007 by Haldrie
Gryph Posted September 10, 2007 Author Posted September 10, 2007 Oops, seems these were just free for the Labor Day weekend. I don't think they work anymore.
L.S.D Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Free for a day only? WHat nonsense especially when you have to download 500MB of it.
Gryph Posted September 10, 2007 Author Posted September 10, 2007 Yeah, seriously. I don't remember any indication that it was only a weekend thing.
Alpha Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Yeah, seriously. I don't remember any indication that it was only a weekend thing.Awww damn. I was planning to download these games this week. Are these gaming companies seriously stupid? That's why Abandonware has been running rampant because these companies still think they can make some money on these games that haven't sold a copy in years.
