Corsix Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Thankyou very much for Dualis; it is a great aid for homebrew DS development I have however found one discrepency between its emulation and actual DS hardware: When the main 2D core is set to mode 0 (all four backgrounds are normal tile/text backgrounds) with extended palettes (eg, videoSetMode(MODE_0_2D | DISPLAY_BG_EXT_PALETTE) ), and bank F is mapped as main background extension palettes (the bank is 16k, so room for 2 extended palettes), then background 3 defaults to extended palette 1. However, on my physical DS, background 3 will default to extended palette 3, meaning that the background will render as full black because said extended palette does not exist.
