Wizard
http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/14542 After a subpar game with modest music, the 5th installment is taking everything bad from last and improved upon it. Includes Havok physics engine and trippy bitchin visuals.
Agozer
I strongly approve of the trippy bitchin' visuals. There is a tiny seed of doubt in the back of my head though, seeing as the development team is no longer the original Team Silent. Still, judging by the video I'd like to think that they haven't gone completely south with this.
BlackKnight
What the hell is with Team Silent jumping ship on everything all of a sudden? I thought the reason why Climax was doing Origins was because the old team was busy on 5? But anyway wtf was with that interviewer? 'The combat was always crappy'... 'Silent Hill bosses suck'... wtf? And the designer- 'I've played most of the old Silent Hills'... most? Wtf does that mean? I bet he just watched the movie and considers himself an expert. For people who claim to love the franchise, geez... And then the guy being a soldier? If any one of those punks knew flock all about the atmospheric difference between Silent Hill and your next survival horror series, they'd know it was the helplessness of playing your average Joe that made everything so scary. As they say- if you're in power in a situation you're not scared. But who the hell is going to be scared of nurses with knives if you're a combat specialist? I don't see how they can escalate things enough to create the same set-upon feeling that people experienced as Harry or James. Overall I'm not too impressed, either with the game or the attitude of these guys. The little girl with crayons (I am sick of little girls in these new-age Silent Hills) was a cliche, but that scene in the toilet where the camera pans to the last cubicle as things shift to the other world, and then a nurse comes out and lurches toward the player was worse. It seemed like one of the hack cutscenes from Doom 3. This game seems to be indicative of where Silent Hill is going- looks like garbage, and, dare I say it, the series I once swore by is now dead. Wizard
Their all doing other projects. The only person back for 5 is Akira Yamaoka if I recall.

L.S.D
I have never been able to finish any of the SH series. I think i will play SH1 again. SH Origins waken my interest again.

Get them all out now and play them. 1-3 are great... 4 isn't as good but still worth the time and better than most of the chaff out there.
Smilee
I got the impression that they're going to make the game more action-y and less scary in that interview. I'm not that impressed so far, but it's too early to make assumptions and we'll have to wait for more previews and ultimately the game itself to see how it turns out. Damn I prefer more scary, like the old ones
