I think it's got something to do with how the SATA interface accesses the bus, it causes issues with PATA drives in a direct access mode. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Shibathedog Posted September 25, 2007 Author Share Posted September 25, 2007 one other thing for people who might find this, i originally used Softmod Installer Deluxe 2.0 to mod it, and then used the newest NDURE installer so i would have an easy way of replacing the default dash (Lazyness, i wanted the dashboard folder haha) When i originally put the HDD in it was going to the MS dash, I then started the NDURE exploit installer again, but i only had the option to remove the exploit, so what i did was hit restore from restore disc, and picked the dash version i had (you can check in the MS dash) it of course failed because i dont have a restore disc, but after that it started booting to the XBMC dash again so it all works fine again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
