Just FTP the files in, if softmodded simply overwrite your UX files (Default.xbe) with the XBMC ones. Everything is resident in memory after your dash is loaded, you can overwrite the running executable.

Why is XBMC a better dash than UX? Well if you make frequent use of XBMC, why have UX? Beyond a text editor and some minor things, UX offers nothing XBMC can't do......in some cases better.

XBMC supports Python scripting, so if you know how you can do whatever you want if scripting it is possible.

Why not try it in it's own directory for awhile, treating it as your dashboard, and see what you think?

I've been using the latest version of XBMC for awhile now, I don't really UnleashX for it's purposes. I use XBMC to play online, watch videos and listen to music. I also set up a path so XBMC could locate my emulators and games, so I can play them directly from XBMC.
