onetrueblade
Hello. I'm having trouble installing any screenpacks on winmugen. I'm switching over from dos and I've only run into a few problems and this is a big one. I tried to transfer the durecelleur's battle pack I had before, it runs and all but the words are missing from the opening screen and the character select screen. Also, the player 2 name doesn't show up above it's lifebar. It runs fine, but those words are missing. I don't know what I did wrong. I tried to install mugen fighting jam (Which said it was for winmugen but doesn't appear to be) but it won't even boot. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I'd really appreciate it if you can help me.
Evil_Ryu_X
IM using Fighting Jam for winmugen, and its great. Redownload the Fighting Jam, and do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7TnHDRsT3s This'll show you how to do it, AND select your starting cursor position! onetrueblade
I meant to post this earlier today, But I'm having a heck of a time keeping the debug info off the screen. I fixed it in the system like you're supposed to, but It won't go away.....Any ideas?
Evil_Ryu_X
Yep. Thats an easy one, I thought you might have a challenge! Open your mugen.cfg file. Scroll down to where it says [Debug]. Underneath should be something along the lines of:;Set to 0 to disable starting in debug mode by default.Debug = 1 Set the 1 to 0. ^^ - Ryu out.
