Fatal Rose Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I have no idea as to why this is happening. Anyway I can fix this?
BlackKnight Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 The MAME line is that they go for accuracy over speed. So sometime updated drivers actually run *slower* than the old ones. Lemme guess- CHD games? Killer Instinct? For a lot of those you're better off using an older build.
Fatal Rose Posted October 12, 2007 Author Posted October 12, 2007 No just regular ROMs. Like Knuckle Bash one and 2boot leg, the Capcom VS series. etc.. Nothing to extreme or any CHD's. Can you link/recommend me a good build of mame to use for right now? It's just so odd, this has never happened before.
Superman Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Have you tried playing with the framskip function?
Fatal Rose Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Have you tried playing with the framskip function?Going to try that out.
Fatal Rose Posted October 16, 2007 Author Posted October 16, 2007 Frame Skip helped the video, not skipping anymore but the audio is still skipping. Someone please help. What do you guys suggest?
Robert Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 They changed a lot of things recently, for the worse. Donkey Kong is going to stutter really badly unless you have a recent computer. Turn off triplebuffer (although you might get screen tearing), see how that goes.
mtsaint Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 just use an older version for the games that used to run well its how i do it
