ben2dx
I know there is a snes emulator for the ds, but does anyone know of one that works perfectly, or close to perfect. thanks -Ben
Agozer
It took me a second with Google and I came up with snesDS. Unbelievable, isn't it? <_>
Robert
The only "perfect" emulator is bsnes, but that will never run on a DS. So, you can use snesDS http://www.cs.utah.edu/~tew/snesDS/or SnezziDS http://www.forwardcoding.com/projects/snezzids/snezzids.html
ben2dx
1 more question. I extracted a snes rom using winrar and i got a bunch of smc files what do i do with thoose?
Robert
smc files are the roms, one per game. My guess is put them in the same folder as the emulator is in, and see if the emulator can open them.
ben2dx
ok because i got like 50 smc files per game, where do you get roms?
Robert
It should be that one smc file is one game.Just see what the emulator does with them. And don't ask for roms!
Agozer
You should know better than to ask where to get roms. Warned. If you got multiple roms belonging to the same game it means that you've downloaded a full GoodSNES set. that in turn means that you now have every single dump of every single SNES game, effectively making 80% of the rom files useless to you. You only need the ones with either [!] at the end (if the naming follows the Goodcodes "standard") or or simply the country code, (J), (U) or (E). Mooney
How come no one mentioned SNEmulDS? It is by far the best SNES emulator for DS, and was just recently updated (unlike snesDS and SnezziDS)
ben2dx
well sorry for asking for roms, but i thought it was legal if you purchased the game. which i have. well i figured out i got so many files because it came with a bunch of other super mario disco version, and super crazy mario world, i just wanted the game!
