dont use slayersuse auto installer 4.10.

slayers is for chippeed cosoles ie hardmodded.

auto installer 4.10 is for softmodded/chipped.

Hey Shiba when you remod it create a rescue disc with apps you need.

 

Also use qwiz with avalanch (don't have to but seems to wok fastest with) to make isos of games ripped to xbox hdd.

 

If you are using plus on a samsung drive booktype to dvdrom.

thanks for the help everyone, I ended up just downloading a retail C (I couldn't figure out how to just extract it from slayers, and I've never used slayers so I didnt want to accidentally click something i needed a chip installed for) then i FTPed in, deleted the C drive, uploaded the new one, and re-softmodded

 

The retail BIOS works fine now, still not sure how exactly this happened though :/ I still haven't tried a backup yet though. Ill try the method above with some games I have discs for, I also have an ISO of a game, I should just extract it to a folder right?

when u run a newer game or connect to xblive it updates your dash which can cause some errors
