I recently got NullDC running on my new laptop. It runs @ a full 60fps no problem, however the sound is really choppy/full of static. I've tried the Chankast sound plug-in, but it causes everything to run way too fast because there's no sync/throttling.

Any ideas as to what could be causing the sound break-up? I don't think it's a speed issue....un-throttled it runs at 140fps! :D

It's a problem with nullDC itself, although some sound hardware configuration have it much worse than others. The static usually gets worse over time, and it's more prevalent in certain games (at least that's what my own experiments have led me to believe).

Wait for the next version. It won't be too long a wait anyways.

Actually, I think i fixed it by increasing the buffer size. I think it was emptying too fast.
