kuroioni Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Hey psp fans I was just wondering...today i saw where you can connect your psp to your computer and play it from there fullscreen and i was just wondering if anyone knew how to do it and could possibly help me out that way i could play my psp from my computer.
Mooney Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 I've heard of a few apps like this myself, but I've never really looked in to them...
BlackKnight Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 First off what firmware version is your PSP? All of the homebrew solutions out there are pretty bad... the only real way to do it would be to grab a Slim PSP and one of those TVs or AV boxes that can scale video output. That said let me know what you're running first because there are crappy things you might be able to use.
kuroioni Posted November 8, 2007 Author Posted November 8, 2007 ok im noob at this true enough ive had my psp 3 months now but what is firmware?
Robert Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Firmware is the operating system, in other words, what starts up when you turn your PSP on. Somewhere among the menus it should say what version you have. Please tell us what it says.
Kloplop321 Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 go to the far left section on the main menugo down to system, press X, a sub-menu will pop up, go down to system information, It is like the 2nd from the bottom I think
BlackKnight Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 OK, since you have no idea what firmware is, let me just say that there will be several arduous and risky (to your PSP) steps that you'll have to take before you can try this fullscreen stuff. In all I'd say don't bother. It's not worth it.
