Agozer
What I/O Interface are you currently using? It's quite obvious that ASAPI won't work unless you install the manager first.
2eyez
Happens to me a few times. Just restart your computer and try again. I remember reading somewhere, it's due to running mulitple programs at one time ex: video, net, docs,...etc...

SPTI - Microsoft I can't find the ASAPI manager link, the link it provides doesn't direct me to the download. It only happens with a certain ISO. 2 others don't have this problem. Agozer
Tracking servo failure can indicate that your drive is busted or already on it's way to hardware heaven. http://www.bhacorp.com/support/atapi/errors4.html# I had same kind of tracking errors start appearing randomly when trying to burn stuff with my old drive, regardless of what software I used. Devia Eleven
I didn't want to believe it, but the truth of the matter is, that the DVD-RW burner I'm using has been sitting around the house for nearly 3 years without being used. That would most likely explain the failures, it just didn't make much since because I was able to burn ISOs weeks ago without any problems.
