L.S.D Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 After watching the video, I was like "WTF?!?" I know Tekken characters have not been very realistic mostof the times but this boss takes the cake. Still, mixed reviews have come out for the game from the people playing in Japan, and it was said that itwas T5-broken with some characters can kill you with two juggles combining with Rage and wall juggles. Duh. Now discuss.

BlackKnight Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 He makes a little more sense than True Ogre at least. Still I agree with the 'WTF' sentiments. Could this be the thing Dragunov was 'resurrecting' in Dark Resurrection? So does this mean no Jinpachi, no Devil Kazuya, no Ogre in T6?
L.S.D Posted November 27, 2007 Author Posted November 27, 2007 Yes, the 3 you mentioned are not in. How does Azazel make sense? How does he come in in term of storyline? From Drag's story where he basically resurrect it in his ending in T5 DR? And one of his move is a 360 degrees rubble blow ala nuclear bomb style. Man, unavoidable it seems And another move remind of KOF2003's Muruko "summon stone" move! Seems to me Namco is out of ideas.
BlackKnight Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 I'm just comparing him- a fairly straightforward reptile-like monster- to True Ogre, who was half bat, half wolf thing... snakes for hands... That was really a 'WTF' character design.
veristic Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Fun. His name sounds familiar... some kind of biblical reference perhaps.
BlackKnight Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Fun. His name sounds familiar... some kind of biblical reference perhaps. Thrown in for flavour no doubt. Ancient Hebrew words make good stock names from demons in games these days, judging by how many there are.
Devia Eleven Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Tekken was never really a game based around fantasy. Everything in the game was pretty legitimately realistic except for some of the boss fighters and the idea that Kazuya has a corruption in himself large enough to make him morph into some Devil-like creature. Other than that, there's nothing much else to point out except fighting animals, some fighting animals can be seen in real life fighting with boxing gloves, just not Gon who was a pointless character and never made it past any installment after Tekken 3.
L.S.D Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 Gon is like a joke character. But I still like him in T3 Also, I noticed Armor King seems to have a new combo that look nice
Devia Eleven Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Aren't him and King clones? Or was it the other King?
BlackKnight Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Aren't him and King clones? Or was it the other King? Nah they had a student teacher relationship. I mean the old King and old Armor King... who knows what the deal with the new zombie Armor King is.
