Agozer Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Don't use K-Lite at all. Period. Download ffdshow for general usage, then Haali Splitter if you want Matroska and softsub support. If you happen to stuble upon OGM movies, get OggDS. Then use whatever video player you like to use.
Wizard Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Yeah, agreeing on don't use K-lite. It's old now.
Shibathedog Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Don't download K-lite OR GOM. GOM is NOT as good as everyone says it is, Download the CCCP, It comes with Zoom Player and Media Player Classic, obviously all the codecs you'll ever need too. I can't really decide between the two, they both work equally well, whatever you prefer, Zoom Player definitely looks nicer though. If for some strange reason you still can't play it (impossible!) VLC is always there.
Exp44 Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Yup I got CCCP and ffdshow and I never have any problems. It's pretty good stuff.
