out of the dozens of parody movies those are the only 2 I really find funny, prolly cuz they were Wayans Brothers written.

Eastern Promises

Well, it's a good mafia movie with Russian-ish touch. Although am sort of irritated by the flapping Wiener of LotR-Viggo. I mean, remarkable character playing of him. It just looks kinda awkward. Eventhough it suits to this explicit movie.

 

I'd list the recent ones like this:

1. American Gangster (kinda oldskool)
   
2. Eastern Promises (decent, remarkable)
   
3. The Departed (endless cast of hollywood, endless amount of bodies)

Saw Hancock last night. Very good overall. I thought special effects went overboard a few times, but that is what movies tend to be now as that is what draws the crowds.

Get Smart; it was good if you were a fan of the original series. I don't know about the chemistry between Carell and Hathaway though...

I saw Hancock, the ending was weird but the movie was good overall.

I like 1 better. The parodies are classic lolz moment. Maybe becos it was the first of its kind which is why we can stomach it.
