At least with regard to them, I'm sure they would have liked a chance to sample the game before buying. And, of course, nVIDIA for the win. mudlord Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 just tried to download it after installing Steam and registering, and the Portal demo itself appears to be 6 gigs thats messed up.... Main full version files for retail version of Portal add up to 1.1GB...

I think its good that it didn't keep going for long enough for you to get sick of it. The game mechanics and plotline would have needed a lot more good ideas to make the game any longer but still feel as fresh.
Inky Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 I didn't mind the shortness since its just a slice of the jam packed goodness that is Orange Box. if I payed $40 - $60 bucks for portal alone I woulda been pissed.
