No the only similar function is a 4-player LAN connection with VBALink on Visual Boy Advance.

IIRC, mudlord's VBA-M build already has or is going to have a good netplay component in the future. I don't care about netplay, so my info is vague at best.

thanks Goz, will look it up. edit: after looking it up, no public build is yet available, therefore patience is the key.

also, I was able to connect with a friend from London using VBALink and Advanced Wars 2. This was done by using Hamachi to start a fake Lan and then using the regular Lan option. However the game was extremely choppy and in the end, even though we connected both as a client/server and in the game(another game I tried didn't link) the game was moving too slowly to see if we could actually play it, because of the link establishment , I surmise.

In case your wondering, public builds are out now.

And...the link code needs to be fixed for our new GBA emulation core, for linking to work proper.

[Welllll.... has anyone considered: email the makers of vba or no cash (considering those to be the most known about, and ask for them to hook up with kailera and get som netplay goin on, and email kaillera and ask them to make a netplay for vba / no$.

sync would still be an issue. all sorts of issues make kaillera not appropriate in its current state.

the p2p version less of a mess than the original server/client code, but still.

Personally I don't see the need for Kaillera. All efforts should be concentrated on 2P p2p for now imo, and once that's stable, add in 3 and 4p.

I figure since GBA netplay wouldn't be as popular as arcade netplay for example, games would only be limited to a very limited amount of people, like friends or a forum like this.
