How to open port ?

I try to connect to a server to play online game , but it fail. I scan my connect and the result is that all ports are stealth .. is that the problem ...and how to fix it.

BTW i turn the firewall off.

You have to find an interface for forwarding ports in your router's control panel. Hope this helps;

Sorry I forget to tell that I'm using GPRS connection through my cell phone ^^. its like dail up but faster.

hmm you might be kinda screwed in that case, sounds like your ISP is in control of what ports are open.

If I'm understanding your connection correctly then yeah pretty much. Unless there is an option on the phone or something which I doubt because a phone is not a router - but who knows with phones these days.

 

What your doing is connecting your cell phone to your PC and then using the cell phones internet connection on your PC right?

I'll try to see If changing proxy will have any effect.

I'm pretty sure that won't work either. There are things you can set up on PCs that can get around this problem, But I don't think there is any software for cell phones available sophisticated enough.

Go to www.howardforums.com and look around there. There might be a way but it will require unlocking your phone which may or may not be possible.
