ken_cinder
I ripped the cabinet apart for ease of getting it inside. Figured what the hell, it needs a good cleaning anyway.Witness the Frankenstein!
ken_cinder
It's alive! Well mostly, theres only AV hooked up and the scoreboard I only tested for AC continuity. But heres pics! Game running is my Taito F3 hardware with Puzzle Bobble 2. http://img502.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hpim1189hf6.jpg http://img141.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hpim1192vg6.jpg http://img218.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hpim1194id6.jpg
Jitway
Good job there. Looks like you are having a blast with it. Too bad you live to far from me or I would pay you a visit when you get it all done to have a round or 2 with ya and a game as well.

ken_cinder
Ok I gutted the entire wiring, it just wasn't going to work as it was custom. I kept it for all the connectors though. ANother pic, wife playing finally. Only thing not wired up is 2P controls, coin door and service switches (Though those are built right into F3 motherboard) http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/2866/hpim1195mu9.jpg
ken_cinder
Finally all done. Tore the existing wiring out, reused the nice molex connectors etcReplaced the sticks and buttons (Wow Sanwa stuff sucks, not know why so popular. Buttons too shallow, sticks FAR too sensitive) Here it is! Save for cosmetic rework (I'm going to Krylon Fusion it red and black in the summer).
