Shibathedog Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 i have the PC version of Red Faction and its GREAT yada yada and i played it all the time blah blah anyway my problem is whenever i run it under Windows XP for some reason 99% of the time (twice out of like..hmmm...200 plays maybe) it restarts the computer when i exit. My computer is way more than powerful enough to play it and this happens on all the computers ive tested it on that have Windows XP!! WTF!!?!?! does anyone know how to fix this becaus ei cant seem to find a solution!!!
echoman Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 Hmm never had that problem before, I play it on WinXp all the time. What exactly happens when u exit out of the program?? Maybe somethin in windows makes a major error and crashes hence the restart.
emsley Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 reads like monitor trouble.Power supply to low.Is your red faction 2 a copy with freaky cracks?Have you looked for a pacth for the game?
