Inky
There's a way now to play backups using a special kind of memory card . The Memor 32 has a built in USB port and you can transfer saves to and from the PC , among others . Also, you can install a software called Memento that runs backups without any modification .that would be nice if the memor32 was available for under 60 bucks. might as well install a modchip for that price. neo
is there a great risk in modifying the PS2....if so i'll rather the swap magic...if not its easier to modify the game in my country...besides does the swap magic work with the 79001? Advise me!
Devia Eleven
I think that the latest Swap Magic is compatible with all PS2 versions.
Shibathedog
Yeah stick with swap magic, anyone who's ever taken apart a PS2 knows they are built like garbage. (WTF is with the optical drive?!) you actually CAN install a ELF loader or something like that to your memory card, which lets you boot burned games as long as the card as in, no swapping required, but you have to get it on the memory card using either a swap magic, or a modded PS2, so unless you know someone with either its kinda pointless. Theres one for HDLoader too. My PS2 refuses to read burned CDs though so I couldn't do it. (Its weird as hell, It reads DVDs, Burned DVDs, PS2 games, Burned PS2 games, PS1 games, and I think audio CDs, it might not I don't remember, but it wont read ANY CD-Rs or CD-RWs even if there is just audio on them, it just makes this clicking sound)
