How to save game in kega(fusion)

Hi

 

I am trying to load and save game in fusion the sega genesis emulator but no options there. Is it possible to save and load game by using Kega(fusion)?

 

Or which genesis emulator can save games (with-out load or save state) and how, step by step please.

I hope your not trying to load a save state before you've loaded a game. All Genesis emulators (Kega Fusion included have supported both savestates and native saves for years.

But how can I do this save job?

Put savestates in the states folder (or wherever Kega stores savestates) and then use either File --> Load State As... or File --> Load State. If you are using Load State, then the save state has to be named the same as the ROM file.

 

Native saves are loaded in-game. The save file needs to be named the same as the rom and placed in the SRAM folder.

 

You know, this is explained in Kega's Readme file as well, if I'm not mistaken.

There's 2 types of saves. You could "help us" help you by telling us what kind of save you want to load.

 

A save state made by an emulator

 

A save made by the game... Example: In Phantasy Star 3 you saved at the inn.
